In 1970, when Lompoc had two street lights, a prominent Apostolic evangelist,
Reverend Dell Rose, with his wife, Dorothy Jo Rose,
founded The First Apostolic Church of Lompoc.
On May 18, 2020, Elder Dell Rose chose to become the Bishop of the First Apostolic Church of Lompoc and appointed Elder James Ball to become the Pastor.
Bishop Rose passed away gently on Monday morning, April 26, 2021
